PUTTING THE SPARKLE BACK IN A CHILD’S EYE

School Zone™ is our main philanthropic program.  This program provides brand new clothing to identified low-income students in the school districts we serve.  Since 1989, over 46,000 students have been dressed. The purpose of the program is to enhance self-esteem, promote learning and encourage regular school attendance.

We partner with the Temecula, Murrieta, Menifee, Lake Elsinore, and Romoland school districts. Families can sign up online through their child’s school district.

We have agreements with Kohl’s in Murrieta and Menifee as well as Target in Lake Elsinore to have children come to the stores during their appointment time and select school appropriate clothing free of charge.  This past year, each student was allotted a $125 tax free allowance during this “shopping event”.

Many students have never had the opportunity to purchase new clothing for their very own. Our reward are the smiles on the children’s faces and the sparkle in their eyes when they leave the store with their new clothes.
