GIVING ASSISTANCE TO FURTHER EDUCATION ENRICHING CLASSROOM PROGRAMS

Our annual scholarship program awards financial aid to graduating high school seniors in our local districts. Financial assistance is a necessity for many college-bound students. 

We receive high school scholarship applications from Murrieta Dollars for Scholars and Temecula Dollars for Scholars. We work directly with Lake Elsinore High School District to provide scholarships to their graduating seniors. Our volunteers meet to read the applications from the students and make selections based on student essays, grades, volunteer hours as well as school activities.

Each year, on a rotation basis, teachers from the school districts we serve, Temecula Valley Unified, Murrieta Valley Unified, Menifee Union, Lake Elsinore Unified and Romoland School District are given the opportunity to apply for grants valued up to $400 each. The grants are awarded to enable teachers to provide enrichment activities for their students. The committee reads the applications and awards the grants in the Fall.

For the past 5 years we have partnered with and received a grant from Loma Linda University to provide students experiencing financial hardship to continue their education. These scholarships provide $2,000 per student to use toward tuition, books, transportation, childcare or whatever needs they may have.
